Sustain Magazine

This is a scan of my high school senior thesis project. I chose to create a sustainable fashion magazine to dive further into my interests and showcase how attainable a sustainable wardrobe can be for anybody. I edited all the images and layouts myself, as well as the research and text provided. I also conducted the interview and handpicked the people I wanted to showcase. The only part of the project I was not responsible for was the styling (I let each person choose outfits from their own wardrobe) and the photography, which is credited on the first page. After my presentation, I was approached by one of my former teachers who told me she had completely reevaluated her consumerism habits and had started shopping second-hand exclusively because of this project. This was such an impactful message and a catalyst for me to continue on my journey to promote fashion sustainability.
